Trick? or, Treat?

Let me tell you a story about the little Frog Prince and the Flower.

There once was a little Frog Prince that went out to on halloween night.

He found a cute little Flower that was getting buckets of treats.

They quickly became friends and he helped himself to her treats.

The little Flower got angry and left him.

But soon after felt very sad, lonely and depressed.

The little Frog Prince felt sad too.

They decided to be friends again to go trick or treating together.

And then got to share some birthday cake.

The End.

Daddy Wake-Up!

The Daddy wake-up routine started one lazy morning after Annabelle woke and made her backward tummy slide off the end of the bed. "Off, off" she says. After the successful touch down by her little feet, little smiley gives herself a short applaud. And then she started making her way around the bed to Daddy's side. All bright and cheery, Daddy's little girl reaches out for my hand and as she grips onto my finger and tugs, "UP!" Says Annabelle - all excited and ready to start the day.

But just after Daddy gets up, he asks for his jogging shorts and points to Annabelle to get them. Without hesitation, Annabelle made her way all the way back to the foot of the bed where the shorts laid. Grabbing them with one little hand she waddles back. The task is completed as it handed to Daddy with a nod and saying "Shh Shh." - Annabelles way of saying - your welcome.

Amazed as Grace and I were at her amazing understanding, the next morning we were surprised at her memory. After Annabelle woke up and got off the bed, she made her way over to wake up Daddy but just as she got to me, she notices the shorts hanging off the drawer. She quickly bends over pick it up and hand it to Daddy before saying "UP!" After that adorable routine, how could I refuse? As tired as I was, this little sunshine brought out my energy to start the day.
